๐ซ Aloo Ka Paratha Recipe
๐ง Ingredients
For the dough:

2 cups wheat flour

1 tsp oil (optional)
-
Water as needed
-
Salt to taste
For the potato filling:
-
3 medium boiled potatoes (mashed)
-
1–2 green chilies (finely chopped)
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
½ tsp cumin seeds
-
½–1 tsp red chili powder
-
½ tsp garam masala
-
½ tsp amchur (dry mango powder) or a squeeze of lemon
-
2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
-
Salt to taste
For cooking:

Ghee or oil
๐ฉ๐ณ Instructions
1. Make the dough

Add wheat flour, salt, and a little oil in a bowl.

Gradually add water and knead until soft and smooth.
-
Cover and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the filling
-
In a bowl, add mashed potatoes.
-
Mix in green chilies, ginger, cumin, red chili powder, garam masala, amchur, coriander, and salt.

Combine well.
3. Stuff the paratha
-
Take a small ball of dough and roll it slightly.
-
Place a generous amount of potato filling in the center.
-
Bring the edges together and seal.
-
Sprinkle flour and gently roll into a thick paratha.
4. Cook the paratha

Heat a tawa.
-
Place the rolled paratha and cook until brown spots appear.
-
Flip, apply ghee/oil, and cook both sides until golden and crisp.
